Both the primary and guest baths feature Merola Blue Etna tile at the tub and shower enclosures, creating a bold, contemporary focal point. In the primary bath, a custom soaking tub platform with two wide steps ensures safe, comfortable access, with one step cleverly concealing kitty litter storage. The design also includes a custom freestanding storage unit with a side cutout for the client’s cat, discreetly housing the litter box below with front doors and a roll-out drawer, while upper storage features an additional drawer, a functional countertop, and a shallow hutch with open shelving. Etched glass shower doors were selected for their smooth, easy-to-clean surface, and integrated niches and a built-in bench enhance long-term usability. Oversized grey stone tiles ground the guest bath, while the primary bath features a smooth-cut river rock floor in varying shades of grey, adding subtle texture underfoot. The vanities are refinished in a warm walnut tone to complement the waterproof tambour-style wall treatment, resulting in a cohesive, highly personalized space that balances modern design, accessibility, and everyday livability.
