This kitchen remodel transformed a dated, compartmentalized space into a warm modern interior designed for both entertaining and everyday living. The original red brick fireplace and small sitting area were completely reimagined with a sleek concrete fireplace surround, while a new loveseat and rich red velvet stools create a flexible lounge space just outside the client’s office doors. Adjacent to the seating area, the kitchen was redesigned with soft white cabinetry, off-white countertops, and a large rounded-edge island topped in white stone that comfortably seats three. The range wall became a central architectural feature with an oversized arched hood, complemented by built-in arched spice niches and dramatic maroon subway tile for depth and contrast. Stainless appliances bring a clean contemporary feel, while a brown oak countertop display cabinet with glass fronts adds warmth and visual balance in the corner of the kitchen. The existing sink location was thoughtfully maintained beneath the window to preserve natural light and functionality, while a tall standing cabinet opposite the island enhances storage and symmetry throughout the space.
