Linn County Projects
During my time as an intern at Linn County General Services, I managed dozens of projects, up to 10 at any one time. I oversaw repainting and recarpeting projects and full renovations of buildings. Space planning and floor plan work within Revit were daily tasks. My work ranged anywhere from picking materials with clients, doing vendor walk throughs, budgeting, and scheduling, and designing interior spaces for departments clients.
OSU EXTENSION BUILDING REPAIR
The OSU Extension Building experienced damage when a car collided with the building's Northeast corner break room during off hours. Linn County, as their landlords, was tasked with assisting in the break room repair. I designed the new storage cabinetry in the space while working closely with the client, as well as picking new finishes for the repaired areas. Project coordination involved budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and walk-throughs, as well as designing.
COMMISSIONERS SPACE
The Commissioner's administrative assistant's current workspace contained outdated and clunky desk units. The flow of the space was constricted and not optimized for foot traffic. There also needed to be a divide between members of the public who came in and the staff for safety. During my time at Linn County I worked as the lead project manager and designer on this project and worked closely with the client and the vendor when coming up with the best solution. Moving the cubicles towards one wall allowed for a wider walkway and slightly larger workstations. The new color them throughout the space is a lot softer on the eyes and modernizes the space. The new space is cleaner and more comforting, and overall, it gives Linn County a great first impression when the public walks through the doors.

WILLAMETTE HEALTH CENTER
Willamette Health Center's North and South Buildings sit on a lot off of Pacific Blvd in Albany. Linn County's Health Department continues to hire new staff and expand, creating a need for more space. During my time at Linn County I was tasked with designing a completely new building from scratch that met the needs of the department. I would frequently check in with the client through numerous rounds of revisions to get it closest to its final form.
