This project focused on a young family settling into their first home, a 1920s Dutch Colonial. Their goal was a warm, colorful, and functional space that balanced everyday family life with entertaining, while honoring the home’s original charm.

After an in-home consultation, I recreated the layout in Floorplanner and developed multiple space planning options for the entry and living room. I selected durable, comfortable furnishings and layered color, texture, and form to create a welcoming home that reflects their personality and supports how they live.
