Coastal Disco

This project was for a vibrant couple settling into their newly built beach home, designed with striking windows that frame the surrounding forest. They envisioned a space that felt as bold and dynamic as the architecture itself—full of personality, color, and mid-century charm. Their existing features, including a golden “disco ball” backsplash and rich royal blue kitchen cabinetry, served as a playful foundation for the design. The goal was to create an open-concept interior that celebrated their love of design and nature while maintaining a cohesive and spirited aesthetic throughout.


Drawing inspiration from the home’s bold architectural lines and the couple’s joyful style, I curated a collection of colorful rugs, vibrant sofas, and deep camel-toned leather pieces that anchored the space with warmth and texture. Concrete tile flooring provided a sleek, durable foundation, while new seating selections—including counter stools and accent chairs in walnut, leather, and mixed metals—were chosen to echo
the material palette of the home. Every element was selected with intention, balancing bold design with functional comfort. The result is a striking, personality-filled retreat that feels uniquely them—modern, playful, and perfectly at home
in its stunning natural surroundings.
