Living Room Refresh

Role: Sole Designer and Procurement

Scope: Space planning, FF&E selection, material and finish specification, and procurement

This living room transformation lightened a once dark, heavy space into something balanced and inviting. Outdated rolled-arm furniture, underscaled art, and the lack of a rug left the cherry floors feeling ungrounded. I introduced a soft, dusty brown slope-arm sofa with geometric pillows, a bright neutral rug for warmth and texture, and a mix of updated seating for visual interest. Layered tables, improved lighting, and reflective accents enhance natural light, while larger artwork and mirrors bring proper scale. The result is a refreshed, functional space that feels elevated, comfortable, and timeless.
